Dear {Name},
I am sorry to inform you that I must resign from my position as a dental hygienist at {dental practice}, as of {date}.
Frankly, the details of this job have just become unbearable for me. Playing nice with patients who have filthy, disgusting mouths is not what I signed on for, and it has become more and more difficult to get out of bed each morning and head in to the office.
My bitterness has nothing to do with the way the practice is run, or with any of the people in the office; I have enjoyed the job from a social aspect, and have found the office to be efficient and organized. I just simply can't handle the people anymore.
Sincerely,
{Name}
