A student who is no longer willing or able to attend a particular university can adjust this template and let the admissions department know that they have decided on another college and can be removed from the waitlist.
Thank you for letting me know of my waitlist status. While I had hoped to attend Anystate University, I need to commit soon, and have decided to attend Otherstate University, where I have already been accepted.
