If the parameters of a freelance position aren't met, use this resignation letter to tactfully withdraw from a contract.
This letter is to notify you that I am resigning from our contract, dated (date). At that time, I agreed to complete the project you had contracted me for, provided that my requests for payment and labor were met.
As you have requested additional work without appropriate compensation, I must withdraw my services from the project. I have now completed all the work that I am able to do in our agreed-upon price range.
